Questa collana Mala di 108 grani, è realizzata a mano con perle di legno di circa 6mm intervallate da pietre di quarzo grigio e agata blu ed è un unico esemplare.
La chiusura è una perla variegata che simboleggia l’acqua e un pesce argentato, simbolo di libertà.
I pesci rappresentano nella tradizione buddhista il superamento di tutti gli ostacoli, la vittoria su tutte le sofferenze e il raggiungimento della liberazione.
Il Mala è un oggetto molto importante per recitare i mantra e per la protezione della mente. Il Mala aiuta a ricordarci la natura pura della nostra essenza e, quindi, indossarli ci consente di connetterci con la nostra parte spirituale.
Si dice che un monaco andò in India per acquisire i sutra. Durante il viaggiosi trovò davanti a un fiume in piena. Un grande pesce si offrì di traghettarlo, ma volendo espiare per un reato commesso quando era un essere umano, gli chiese di intercedere presso il Buddha per diventare un Bodhisattva. Il monaco, dopo diciassette anni di ricerca, ottenne le Scritture e riprese la via del ritorno, e quando arrivò al fiume lo trovò di nuovo straripante. E il pesce tornò ad aiutarlo. Ma il monaco aveva dimenticato la promessa fatta a suo tempo e il pesce furioso lo abbandonò nel fiume. Fu salvato da un pescatore, ma il sutra era stato rovinato dall’acqua. In collera, fece un’ effigie in legno di una testa di pesce e la percosse con un martello di legno. Ogni volta che batteva, il pesce vomitava un carattere e in pochi anni recuperò ciò che aveva perso nel fiume.
